Without a doubt, safety is the most important aspect of working at height – and therefore, it is our top priority. Within Riwal, we never compromise on safety. Ever. That is why it is an integrated part of our company culture.
There is extensive and continuous training for our employees, and processes and systems are in place to support and provide guidance. We make sure that safety is more than just in instruction. Rather, it’s an embedded way of thinking and acting, every single day. So much so, that it has become a proactive attitude to pre-empt risks throughout the workplace. Whether it’s in the office, the yard or the workshop. We call it The Riwal Way.

Not only do we focus on safety within our own teams, as a service provider we are equally keen on keeping our customers and business partners safe. It goes without saying that we work with reputed brands. We also have rigorous processes in place for maintenance and regular inspections of our equipment, which also include smart IoT solutions. And we co-innovate with our suppliers and customers to make sure you rent aerial work platforms that meet the requirements for the job at hand.
Simultaneously, we promote a safety culture among our partners through safety training, communication and by hosting dedicated safety meetings. Additionally, we continuously strive to strengthen our partnerships with relevant players in the industry, like IPAF and CACES.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes.
Riwal is one of only six IPAF Sustaining Members worldwide. IPAF Sustaining Members see the bigger picture and the future of safety in the powered access industry. The IPAF Sustaining Membership is designed to recognise IPAF’s strategic initiatives and overall contribution to improving safety and productivity in powered access worldwide.
