Estimate your emission before you rent

At Riwal, we understand how important it is to minimise the carbon footprint of your project. That is why we have developed the Emission Calculator so that you can make an accurate estimate of the emissions of the machines you want to rent in advance. This gives you a better understanding of the ecological impact of our machines and allows you to compare different types. Whether you rent aerial work platforms, telehandlers or other equipment, our Emission Calculator will help you make the most environmentally friendly choice for your project.

Using the Emission Calculator is easy. Enter the type and number of machines you want to rent, along with the rental period and expected use in days and hours. Our algorithm processes this data and gives you a detailed estimate of the expected emissions. You can even add multiple machine types and variables to the calculation for a more comprehensive project analysis.

With the Emission Calculator, you can confidently choose sustainable options and make a positive impact on the environment. Try it today and discover how easy it is to make sustainable choices with Riwal!

Understanding the data

The Emission Calculator is prepared by the Riwal Holding Group B.V. based on information provided by the ERA guide to carbon reporting, anonymized analysis of actual Riwal customer consumptions, as well as OEM provided data for machine (engine) consumption.

The Emission Calculator is provided to our customers, solely for the purpose of assisting in the projected calculation of their emissions. The Emission Calculator does not purport to be all-inclusive or to contain all the information that a customer may need in calculating their emissions. Actual CO2 emission can differ compared to the projected calculation based on your actual machine usage (hours of usage), ways of usage (frequency, load and kind of movement) and technical variations (engine age, running hours and machine configurations). Riwal Holding Group B.V. makes no express or implied representation or warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information contained in and/or derived from the calculator, nor does she accept any responsibility or liability for damages that may result from incomplete and/or inaccurate information.

Kindly note that CO2 emission can apply to electric machines. In our Emission Calculator, the estimated CO2 emission value for electrical machines is based on the machine kWh consumption times the Dutch average CO2 emission per kWh for generated electricity, based on the Dutch energy mix according to CO2 Emissiefactoren.
